I have a question for you. It seems that what I’m finding on etsy is a lot of patterns. Is it not feasible/profitable to sell finished cross stitch? Does anyone buy it? How can you be sure your pattern hasn’t already been done? I’m relatively new so I wouldn’t be making…

I’m just starting to sell stuff on etsy. Before I sold most of my items at crafts show and cons and did very well so there is a market. But I sell smaller items such as pins, magnets and types of jewelry. I am planning to put up some larger items, but I will be selling them for $60-$100 so we’ll see how that goes. As for patterns… I can honestly say I haven’t bought a pattern in years. I don’t see the point, there are so many free (and legal) options. And any patterns I make I tend to let out for free. =/

For the last couple of days, I’ve only been able to see a handful of posts on the cross stitch tag. Instead of generating more posts, it just ends. The other tags seem to be fine… anyone know what’s going on, or if this has happened before?

Yes, this is happening to me too. Most of the time I just refresh and it starts loading again… but it’s not doing it now. =/ Very odd. 

WIP of my first Barajou cross-stitch. I have to put this on hold for a couple weeks to work on some other things. So ya’ll get to see a sneak peek. =p
